This in the dialect of Imola literally means, ‘light in March’.

In the past a big bonfire was lit with the vine-branches so as to send the winter cold away and to wish a favourable harvest. The peasants would sing and dance around this fire.
Today the company of Passatore-Ca’ d’Imola together with the Pro-Loco have re-proposed this feast , in the main square, with music, dance, and food starting at 5:00 p.m. and at 8:00 p.m the bonfire is lit
