In order to improve the air quality and protect the environment, reduce traffic through the use of means of transport other than private cars and promote sustainable mobility, the Municipality of Imola has set up a public bicycle rental system with pick-up points located throughout the town centre.
The project is a great opportunity to move around freely and allows residents and tourists to use the available bicycles both in their own town and in other areas of the Emilia Romagna region, as well as in several Italian cities.
The Municipality of Imola has implemented one project for fast, self-sufficient and sustainable mobility:
It is the bike sharing service in free flow mode most commonly available in Italy. With the same-named App, it is possible to locate the closest vehicle, monitor your trip and subscribe using a credit card. The same subscription entitles the use of vehicles in any town or city participating in the project.
To use the service, download the free RideMovi App and create an account using the mobile number to which the system verification code to be entered should be sent.
