Imola’s urban network is managed by the public transport company TPER (Trasporto Passeggeri Emilia-Romagna / Passenger Transportation Emilia-Romagna).
The bus station is open according to the following working hours:
waiting room – from Monday to Friday 5.20a.m. – 6.30p.m.; Saturday 5.20a.m. – 1.40p.m.
ticket office – from Monday to Saturday 7.00a.m. – 1.00p.m.
There are five urban lines: 1, 2, 4, 104 and 9 (the latter operates only on holidays). During school, the service is potentiated with further runs connecting the various schools on the territory. Visit the Tper website for all line time tables.
Tickets cost € 1.50 and they can be purchased at tobacconists’, news-stands and at the ticket office at the bus station in Viale Andrea Costa (accessible to people with disabilities).
Tickets can be purchased also on buses at the cost of € 2.00.
Tickets must be punched when getting on the bus: they are valid for 60 minutes and can be used for more runs also on different urban lines.
The City Pass (ticket for 10 runs) or the monthly pass can be used as well respectively at the cost of € 14.00 and € 28.00.
